She also served as the R&D Workstream lead for the Azento project, managing product development, manufacturing transfer, and packaging for this cutting-edge dental solution. Teresa’s leadership and collaboration across multiple regions, particularly with teams based in the U.S. and Sweden, were key to the success of these projects.

Challenge

The development and launch of Atlantis zirconia and temporary crowns required precise coordination across multiple teams, departments, and global locations. Teresa was responsible for managing the global cross-functional teams, including local members and team members from Sweden, to ensure successful product development, validation, and release.

As the project manager, Teresa led the global team through each phase of the product lifecycle, from initial development to final production. She facilitated regular team meetings using a combination of in-person and virtual attendance, ensuring that all team members, despite being geographically dispersed, remained engaged and coordinated.

Teresa provided monthly project updates to the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) team, which consisted of senior-level managers. These updates covered key activities, risks, issues, and decisions required to keep the project on track. Her ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership while maintaining project progress was critical in advancing both the Atlantis zirconia and temporary crown projects.

  • Successful Product Development and Release: Under Teresa’s leadership, both the Atlantis zirconia and temporary crown projects were successfully developed, validated, FDA 510(k) cleared, and released into production, meeting global market demand for high-quality dental solutions.
